We are very excited about our new project "Bringing Gwenllian Morgan to Life" with the Brecon Women's History Group
You can read more about this group below but in summary we have received some funding to
- Commission the creation of a bust of Gwenllian Morgan for y Gaer’s historic Courtroom as well as a video of her life.
- Set up a local history project to research the women who signed the 1912 Subscription Book.
- Scope out a methodology for a contemporary subscription to fund the Bust, video and education materials about Gwenllian for local schools.
Three artist / sculptors are working up proposals for the bust with 15th July the deadline for their submissions.
