Summer Exhibition at Found Gallery

Opening Party for our Summer Exhibition with music from Glen Manby and Friends at the opening between 6pm - 8pm on 6th August.

Found’s exhibition for the Summer welcomes Cornish based Welsh artist Suzanne Davies whose still life compositions are inspired by simple objects with the colours, textures and marks revealing their past and present. Alongside Suzanne we have west Wales artist Ray Wilkinson who paints in oils capturing his endless fascination with the sea and the sky, the interplay of light between them. Helen Arthur from the hills above Hay on Wye is showing a series of paintings entitled Tangled Life whilst David Roy Kerton captures the houses and terraces of South Wales. Contemporary artisan Andy McCloy is joining the show.

In our lower gallery we will have a show entitled ‘Creative Harmony’ with members of NONaffArt who are a collective of professional artists and tutors and the graduates they are supporting this year. NONaffArt supports emerging talent at key career pathways, bridging the gap between university and the professional world.

As part of this exhibition we will have a series of wonderful musicians playing in the gallery over Brecon Jazz weekend 9th – 11th August
