Hundreds of people gathered for the start of the parade, in Cathedral Close for the celebational journey through the town centre, ending up at Theatr Brycheiniog.  Some had spent weeks preparing for the big day with a team of volunteers helping to run the event.

Bringing the musical spectacle to the town, the Frazz Parade welcomed Mr Toad, of Wind in the Willows. He was joined by Badger and Mole and Mr Toad’s eye-catching vintage car.
Adding to the atmosphere was the Cardiff-based Bass 12 Brass band who led the procession, entertaining the hundreds of people who lined the route.
The town centre was host to a myriad of food and refreshment venues, local traders helping to make the most of the big weekend - and gave respite against the blazing sun. Canopies protected many of the musical groups performing across the town while a massive screen entertained crowds in the Bulwark. It was a musical menagerie, wherever you found yourself!
